Anderson County High School has produced more than its share of attorneys, and more could be on the way.
Thirteen students competed earlier this month in a mock trial competition in Louisville, finishing 2-2 and impressing those who helped get them there.
“I was just so proud of them,” said County Attorney Bobbi Jo Lewis, a 1981 Anderson graduate who served as one of the team’s coaches along with local attorney Marie Hellard.
“They put their heart and soul into this, and they had a courtroom full of parents, all just beaming.”
