To the editor:
I attended the truck and tractor pull the weekend of the Burgoo Festival on both Friday and Saturday nights.
I was amazed to see so many people in attendance, the very young and the old, like me.
The event was well planned and organized by Eddie Carey as a fundraiser for a gentleman with cancer.
When you see Eddie, tell him thanks for a job well done.
Eddie has a vision for the motorsports park to become one of the premier pulling tracks in the nation, and if last weekend was an indication, Lawrenceburg could become just that.
