Turner hosts science fair

Robert B. Turner Elementary hosted its annual science fair for fourth grade students on Feb. 28-29.
According to Jennifer Darmsteadt, instructor at Robert B. Turner: “The projects were very creative and showed evidence of great thought. Students learned a lot by using the scientific method to uncover some of the secrets that science holds.”
The following students received awards for their entries:
Overall champion: Gracie Snider from Miss Wise’s class. Her winning topic was “Which Bridge is Stronger,” and tested three types of bridges: beam, rectangular truss and Warren truss.
