Two charged after cops find pound of pot

Two people were arrested Aug. 17 after deputies found what they say was over 1 pound of processed marijuana at 1791 Anderson City Road, according to a news release.

Charged with trafficking marijuana (over 8 ounces) were Timothy Scott Caldwell, 44, and Marilyn Hansley, 58, according to the news release.

The charges are “firearm enhanced,” the news release states.

Both were transported to the Franklin County Regional Jail.

Deputies found the suspected marijuana while executing a search warrant, according to the news release.
