Two separate tractor-trailer crashes, happening about 30 minutes apart, closed down sections of the Blue Grass Parkway near Lawrenceburg on Monday afternoon.
According to County Fire Chief Mike Barnes, a flat-bed tractor-trailer, heading eastbound, flipped onto its driver’s side on the off-ramp near Exit 59 on the Martha Layne Collins Blue Grass Parkway.
The semi was hauling two big rolls of aluminum when it overturned at about 5:55 p.m. Monday, Barnes said.
