Anderson County volleyball earned a tough, three-set win at Mercer County last Thursday.
The Lady Bearcats rolled 25-9 in the first game but held on for 25-22 and 28-26 wins over the last two games.
“I feel that we played well as a team,” Anderson coach Courtney DeLong said. “As the season goes on, they continue to progress and I believe that will show throughout the rest of the season.”
While Anderson was winning convincingly in the first game, it was a matter of fighting through and holding on in the last two.
