A crowd estimated at 800 attended the 4-H Talent Show presented at the Elementary School for the selection of county champions, who would participate in the District Talent Show at Eastern Kentucky State College in Richmond.
The Alton Club, composed of grades 5, 6, 7 and 8, was judged the champion club act with its entry “America For Me.” Gregory Sea and Diane Sea from the Rutherford 7th and 8th grade club won with their specialty act, “Waltz Me Again Willie.”
