Way We Were: McFarland, Beckett and Robinson hike 18 miles

Three members of Scout Troop 230 and the Assistant Scoutmaster participated in an 18-mile hike.
Cecil McFarland, Larry Beckett and Donald Robinson, with assistant scoutmaster Paul Dadisman hiked from Burnside to Zollicoffer Park near Nancy, Ky. The trip took them about six hours.
Scouts in Troop 37 participated in and eight-mile trek along the Centennial Zollicoffer Train from Somerset to the Zollicoffer State Park. Scout leaders J.D. Cook, Guy Simpson and Bill Hunt accompanied them.
