Two Anderson County sisters were up to their old tricks again in walking off with canning honors at the Kentucky State Fair.
Mrs. Elvin Burgin, the state sweepstakes winner last year and not eligible to win the highest honor again this year, placed second with her 65 entries.
Her sister, Mrs. E.B Sparrow, the Sweepstakes winner of the Anderson County Agricultural Fair this year, walked off with third place in the state with her 54 entries at the Fair.
