Large crowds were expected to visit Friday and Saturday for the first Exhibition of the Anderson County Fair, Inc. with many events planned.
A twist contest was to be held Friday night from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. The Carnations with Cosmo and the Trendells with Paul Penny were to entertain. The 4-H Council sponsored the event.
