Dennie Warford earned the right to head the Anderson County Democratic Party by calling “tails.”
When the Anderson County Democratic committee voted to elect a new chairman, it came out six for Warford and six for Hollie Pieratt.
“My high school football coach said the gentlemanly way to break a tie is to toss a coin and always call tails. We did and I won,” said Warford.
