The Way We Were: Three vie for County Dairy Princess crown

Three young ladies were applicants for the title of the Anderson County Dairy Princess. Contestants were: Nancy C. Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Romie Brown; Betty Frances Peyton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peyton; and Carolyn Casey, daughter of Mrs. Thomas Casey and the late Mr. Casey.
Brown and Casey, both graduated from Western High in the spring. Peyton was a spring graduate at Anderson High.
