Cecil “Tad” and Donna Lynn Young are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Cecilya Lynn Young to Bobby Jack Goin, all of Lawrenceburg.
The groom is the son of Sarah and John Garvison of Denton, Texas.
The wedding took place June 3, 2012, at the home of the bride and groom.
They had an outdoor ceremony in front of the pond.
Decorations were a large white arch and lots of pink and red roses.
Latifa Meenes performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white strapless Victorian gown covered in beads and pearls with a cascading train.
She carried a bouquet of pink and red roses.
The maid of honor was “in loving memory” of Morgan Hellard.
Junior bridesmaid was Madison Norris, niece of the bride. She carried a picture of Morgan.
LaShannon Norris, sister of the bride, and Donna Young, mother of the bride, were bridesmaids.
Rhaegan White, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
All wore pink dresses and carried pink rose bouquets.
Steve Perkins was the best man. Martin Perkins, Tommy Pittman and John Garvison, father of the groom, served as groomsmen.
Brayden Norris, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Grandparents of the bride are William and Lucille White.
Lucille was also in charge of flowers for the wedding.
Carolyn Cole, friend of the family, was in charge of photography.
Dalton Young, brother of the bride, videotaped the wedding.
Lee White, cousin of the bride, and Dalton Young were in charge of music.
Rene’e Young, sister of the bride, and Betty White, aunt of the bride, were in charge of the reception, which was held in the park at the county community building.
The couple honeymooned in Virginia Beach, Va., and will reside in Lawrenceburg.
