Chandler to speak during Democratic Woman’s dinner

The Anderson County Democratic Woman’s Club will sponsor its second annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on Monday, Sept. 13 at the Anderson County Senior Center.

The event will begin at 6 p.m., and a catered dinner will be served at 6:30.

Tickets are $30 each.

The event’s featured speaker will be Congressman Ben Chandler, who represents Anderson County as part of the 6th Congressional District. Also scheduled to speak are Attorney General Jack Conway, state Sen. Julian Carroll, state Rep. Kent Stevens, Magistrate John Wayne Conway, Sheriff Troy Young, Brian Stivers and Dan Stumph.

“It will be a wonderful time for all good Democrats to gather for a wonderful meal, fellowship and to kick off the fall election season,” according to a news release.
