'Winning ugly' beautiful to Bearcats

Anderson County will get a feel for one of the teams expected to challenge the Lady Bearcats for the Eighth Region championship when Owen County comes to town on Saturday afternoon. It will be the first of two regular-season meetings between the Lady Bearcats and Lady Rebels.

But first, the Lady Bearcats will host Western Hills on Thursday night, Jan. 20. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

“I don't know a lot about Western Hills,” Anderson coach Tony Kays says. “I have not seen them. I might have to get a scouting report from Danielle Watson.”
