Looking back it sure would have been nice if this year’s modern firearm season had opened one week earlier. The cool temperatures on the first Saturday morning of November were hovering around the freezing mark and it just felt like deer season in the Bluegrass. Oh well, you've got to take what you can get which as it turned out this year was a warm up just before the season opened on the second Saturday of November. We did get a much needed rain so Ben won’t have to worry any more about deer season being cancelled.
