Effective Jan. 1 CASA at Woodlawn and Franklin County CASA have merged together to form one non-profit entity—CASA of the Bluegrass, according to a news release.
The integration of the two programs is for the benefit of the volunteers and children served and will allow the programs to serve a greater number of children in Kentucky. The goals of the merger are as follow:
• To combine staff, resources, and best practices to ensure quality advocacy.
• To increase CASA’s presence and spread CASA’s mission throughout Central Kentucky.
