Work continues on new county park football field

A new football field in the county park is getting closer to reality.
During the past week, county highway employees and others continued to haul in dirt while others installed drainage lines in an all-out effort to have the field ready to be seeded my the middle of September.
Judge-Executive John Wayne Conway briefed the Anderson County Fiscal Court on the project last Tuesday night, asking for and receiving permission to hire outside haulers to bring in dirt to complete the field.
