  • God, not his people, chooses life’s many blessings

Is God the center of your life?
A lot of us think so because we go to church maybe once or twice a week and maybe even throw a 20 in the plate. But, truly who is the God of your life? We often read in the Old Testament of warnings against worshiping idols. In instructing the Israelites in Exodus 20:4, God said, “You shall not make for yourself any idol in the form of anything.”
Idols do not exist much in the American culture, or do they? The American dream focuses on money, status, jobs, homes, cars, etc.

  • Rejection of God unleashes satanic foes on nation

This is one of the toughest things to write about but the tragic shooting last week echoes sadness all over the nation.
Such a horrendous act of violence will not be forgotten. So many ask the why? Friday night on the television show 20/20 a Jewish rabbi and a Catholic priest were both asked why this took place. They said they did not know. The answer is that evil is real and Satan is alive and well.
Sin is rampant today and the devil is on the move.

  • Are you willing to lay your life on the line for Jesus?

Most people think Jesus brought forth a message of peace.
However, this is not true. In Mathew 10:33-39 Jesus says, “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law — a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.
