The Stars of the Bluegrass Baby Contest and Pageant will be held July 1 at the Lions Club Shelter at Anderson Dean Park in Harrodsburg.

They were married on June 1, 1962 in Bonita Springs, Fla., at Lee Memorial United Methodist Church. Bob was an active duty Marine stationed at Quantico, Va. Sandy was a stenographer with the Department of Defense Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. After release from active duty, they moved home to Lexington where Bob served with the Lexington Fire department from 1964-1994 and retired as Battalion Chief.
