The bride is a graduate of Anderson County High School and Kentucky State University School of Nursing. She is currently employed by the Franklin County Health Department as a registered nurse.
Ashley O’Neill Kays and Derrick Logan Anderson of Versailles announce the birth of their daughter, Addisyn Rebecca Anderson, born Dec. 1, 2011, at St. Joseph Women’s hospital.
She weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long.
Her maternal grandparents are Daniel Kays and the late Rebecca Kays of Lawrenceburg.
Her paternal grandparents are James Anderson and the late Kathy Hall of Hardin.
Shawna and James Cunningham of Lawrenceburg announce the birth of their son, Bentley John Cunningham, born Dec. 8, 2011 in Frankfort.
He weighed 7 pounds and 12 1/4 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Mike and Becky Cooper of Lawrenceburg.
His paternal grandparents are Warren and Nancy Cunningham of Lawrenceburg.
His great-grandmother is Edith Patterson of Lawrenceburg.
The family of Louise Carter Gash has scheduled an open house in honor of her 90th birthday Dec. 3 from 2-4 p.m., at Fox Creek Christian Church’s Fellowship Hall. The church is located on U.S. 62 in Lawrenceburg.
Family and friends are invited, but no gifts, please.
Davis and Mary Jane Cox Briscoe and Roy and Velena Gash Harley will both celebrate their 50th wedding anniversaries with a joint reception on Dec. 4 from 2-4 p.m. at Sand Spring Baptist Church.
The Briscoes were married Dec. 2, 1961, at First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Hugh White.
The Harleys were also married Dec. 2, 1961, at Kirkwood Baptist Church by the Rev. Johnny Meadows.
The reception is hosted by both couple’s children, grandchildren, friends and family. Everyone is welcome.
Both couples request no gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harley of Lawrenceburg will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Dec. 11.
The couple was married Dec. 6, 1941, by Bro. Paul Horner at the parsonage of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg.
The Harleys have four children: Bro. James Harley of Harrodsburg, Jewell Harley of Lawrenceburg, Barbara Markwell of Lawrenceburg, and Janet Cornish of Lebanon. They have nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
