The ladies of Nimble Fingers, a knitting and crocheting ministry based out of First Christian Church, know firsthand how comforting a prayer shawl can be during a person’s time of need.
More than 20 women make up the group, which knits and crochets with a mission. Each prayer shawl is blessed by a pastor before they are distributed. The group meets once a month to chat and build up its supply of prayers shawls, allowing anyone who needs it to stop by and grab one for free.
