The City of Lawrenceburg will present its Holiday Remembrance Roll Call ceremony and lighting of the Green at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 on the Lawrenceburg Green. There will be music by the Anderson County High School Advanced Choir. To have your loved one’s name added to the roll call contact city hall at 839-5372.
Just in time to lift your spirits and prepare for the holiday season, the quintessential Christmas story is being brought to life by the Bluegrass Theatre Guild in partnership with the Grand Theatre. The Bluegrass Theatre Guild will present the story Dec. 4 through 7.
The version of “A Christmas Carol” that Bluegrass Theatre Guild has chosen to present was adapted by Karen Louise Hebden, according to a news release.
Amanda Lee Warford and Casey Lawrence Edge were married Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg. Brother Paul Barrick officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by pianist Michael Sivils, organist Meredith Lewis, and soloist Steve Bridgmon. A reception followed at the Anderson County Community Park Building.
The bride is a daughter of Leann and Mark Warford of Lawrenceburg. She is a granddaughter of Mary (“Blondie”) Warford and the late Walter Warford, and Shirley Hoskins and the late Kenneth Hoskins, all of Lawrenceburg.
Ann and Darrell Gabhart of Lawrenceburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception Nov. 16 at Goshen Baptist Church from 2 to 5 p.m.
They were married Nov. 17, 1964 at Goshen Baptist Church.
All friends and relatives are invited to the reception. The couple requests no gifts.
