Musical group BCB & Company entertained members of the Cynthiana High School Class Reunion(1938-1968) and former University of Kentucky basketball coach, Joe B. Hall with the hits of Motown and the golden oldies June 22 at the Prizing House in Cynthiana.
Performers in BCB & Company represent Anderson, Boyle, Mercer, and Franklin counties.

The Woodford Theatre is currently enrolling students for its 2013 summer academy.
At the end of each week of training, students will showcase what they have learned in a performance for friends, family and invited guests.
The performances will showcase the techniques taught throughout the week and the practical application of these techniques, according to the theater’s press release.

Celebrate Independence Day with a veterans parade, live music, and of course, fireworks next week on Thursday, July 4.
The Veterans Parade line up will begin at 4 p.m. at the American Legion fairgrounds. Hot dogs, chips and other refreshments will be provided by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 for all parade participants during the line up.
The veterans parade is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
