  • Engagement: Sea-Hood

    Kenny and Billie Sea of Lawrenceburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie Sea of Lexington, to Derek Hood of Lexington, son of Sam and Martha Hood of Huntington, W.V.
    Grandparents of the bride are Claibourne and Elizabeth Sea and William and Barbara Hatchell, all of Lawrenceburg.
    Grandparent of the groom is Dorothy Hood of Huntington.

  • Anniversary: Brumley

    The family of Charles and LaVerne Brumley will host a reception to celebrate Charles and LaVerne’s 50th wedding anniversary.
    The anniversary reception will take place at First Christian Church from 2-4 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the fellowship hall.

  • Birth: Angel Dawn Piatt

    Angel Dawn Piatt
    Todd and Kimberly Piatt of Lawrenceburg announce the birth of their daughter, Angel Dawn Piatt, born Aug. 5, 2011, at Franklin Regional Medical Center.
    She weighed 8 pounds and 7 ounces and was 20 inches long.
    She was welcomed home by her two sisters Christa and Taylor Piatt.
    Her maternal grandparents are David Kinder and the late Vickie Kinder of Lawrenceburg. Her paternal grandparents are Owen and Brenda Piatt of Midway.

     

  • Anniversary: Cole

    Pam (Wright) and Bill Cole of Lawrenceburg will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1.
    Parents of the couple are Warren and Shirley Ivey of Lexington, the late Jimmy Wright, and Rollin and Jeanette Cole of Lawrenceburg.
    Pam is the executive director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Frankfort. Bill is an electrician at Quad Graphics in Versailles.
    They were married on Sept. 1, 1976, at the Assembly of God Church in Midway. The late Rev. Raymond Eyer officiated.

    The bride is currently employed as a title clerk at Import Cars R Us.
    The groom is currently employed as a forklift operator at CC Tool.
