Abigail Grace McLain and Jay Bruce Springate were married on June 25, 2016 in Atlanta.
The bride, 26, is a native of Atlanta, and is a 2012 graduate of Auburn University. She is employed in Seattle as a counselor/therapist to hospitalized children with serious illnesses. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lewis McLain of Atlanta, and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Reeves Johnson of Huntsville, Ala., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Polk McLain.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Houtz of Lawrenceburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Marie Houtz to Anthony Lynn Harmon, son of Glenn Harmon of Springfield and Rebecca Harmon of Apex, North Carolina.
Hautz is a 2001 graduate of Anderson County High School. She graduated from Nash Academy of Lexington in 2012, where she studied animal arts. She is employed at America’s Uptown Hounds Luxury Resorts.
She is the granddaughter of Charles and the late Doris West of Nicholasville, and Allene and the late LaVern Houtz of Winchester.
