Amber and Jason Robinson of Lawrenceburg announce the birth of their daughter, Sierra Jo Robinson, on April 29, 2011, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 ½ inches long.
She was welcomed home by sister Savannah, 6.

Shandi Puckett, daughter of Chris and Kim Puckett of Lawrenceburg, has been selected as a finalist in the Pre-Teen Kentucky Scholarship and Recognition Program held July 1-3 at the Hyatt Regency in Lexington at the Lexington Center.
Pre-Teen Kentucky is a by-invitation only scholarship and recognition event involving young ladies 7-12 years old based on their school academic records, awards and honors won and/or their participation in outside activities. Pre-Teen Kentucky will award more than $5,000 in educational bonds, prizes and awards.
Donna (Brown) Beasley and Junior Beasley plan to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary June 11 with family.
They were married June 11, 1971 in Shawnee, Ill.
Donna is now retired from working at Toyota Manufacturing and Junior is retired from Wild Turkey Distillery.

Recently, the local Rite Aid store hit a personal best of raising more than $1,700 for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The local hospital that receives this money is the UK Children’s Hospital. The store hit this milestone through the generosity of all the community and a sizable donation from the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 in Lawrenceburg.
