A reception will be held in honor of Ms. Billie Warford in celebration of her 90th birthday on Saturday, April 20 from 2-4 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of the late William “Bill” and the late Charlotte H. Hainsworth of Lexington.
Grandparents of the bride are Helen Hardgrove and Charles Hardgrove, William L. Hainsworth Sr., and Hazel Carpenter Hainsworth, all of Danville.
The groom is the son of Wallace and Charlotte Cardwell of Lawrenceburg.
The Lawrenceburg Business and Professional Women’s Club will host the north central regional meeting on April 6 at First Christian Church on Main Street in Lawrenceburg.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. A continental breakfast and box lunch will cost $15. The meeting will feature a guest speaker and a “speak-off” competition, according to a press release.

Naomi Pleasant Barkley, a native of Lawrenceburg, was recently honored by Kentucky State University’s Cincinnati chapter and the national alumni as a prestigious and dedicated alumni member for “her unwavering commitment to and support of our beloved alma mater,” according to a press release.
Barkley received honors during the March 1 performance of the KSU Concert Choir at Tryed Stone New Beginning Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
