Sure-fire hits for this Sunday’s Super Bowl bash
Next Sunday night is one of my favorite Sunday nights of the year. I get to make lots of yummy snacks and not even feel guilty about them because it’s Super Bowl Sunday! Ahh, the food, the drinks, the new commercials, oh, and I think there’s a football game, too.
Here are some of my favorite super bowl snack ideas.
Reuben Pigs in a Blanket
1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained and chopped
1 tube crescent roll dough

My first week of healthy eating and exercising was a success.
I worked out and had a smoothie for breakfast every day last week. I even tried a new recipe for something I have never made before, granola bars.
I would have never guessed these things were so easy to make and now that I see how quick and yummy they are I am excited to switch them up a bit by adding different nuts and dried fruits to the recipe.

2016 is here, and for most of us the new year comes with lots of plans and goals … and unfortunately, a few extra pounds.
This year, instead of backing away from the table and ending up hungry (and not a very happy person to be around), I’ve decided to simply fill the table with healthier foods. I am not going to make the same mistake as last year by beginning a rigorous exercise routine with a hungry belly.
My New Year’s Eve celebrations are usually spent at home with my husband and children and maybe a few close friends and family.
But just because its spent here on the farm, playing board games, drinking sparkling grape juice and trying to stay awake till 12:01 a.m. doesn’t mean that I don’t put a lot of effort in to what snacks I will serve. Since both of my kids really like to help out in the kitchen, I need to make sure this is something they want to help prepare and eat.
