When I pick my kids up from school, I am always eager to hear about their day. I want to know if they did anything new and exciting, how they did on their tests, and most importantly, were they kind and helpful.
After they hurry me through my questions, they have one and only one question for me, “what is for snack? “ I’m sure if you have little ones, that is their first question, too.
Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Radcliff of Shelbyville and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Monroe of Lawrenceburg announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Whitney Nicole Radcliff and Brandon Lee Monroe.
The bride-to-be is a granddaughter of Leon and Joyce Best of Shelbyville and Joyce and the late Boyd “Bobe” Radcliff of Shelbyville.
She is a 2007 graduate of Shelby County High School. She is employed with KidzWay Learning Center.
Fall is on its way and with it come some of my favorite things: leaves of every color calling all around us, football, cool nights around a campfire, the sweet comforting aroma of warm breads and pies straight from the oven, and hot soup simmering on the stove all day. Ahh, I can’t wait!
I love to get up on a Saturday morning and get a pot of soup going for lunch or dinner on a cool day and one of the best parts is that they are usually very good for you.
