Compassionate Friends announce upcoming meetings
The Compassionate Friends will host meetings for bereavement parents who have lost children of any age.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and the third Monday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the hospice building, 643 Teton Trail in Frankfort.

Mount Pleasant Baptist Church will hold its 169th Homecoming on Oct. 6, the church announced.
The church was devastated by flooding in August when Puncheon Creek swelled an estimated 10 feet over its banks.
Since then church members, volunteers and supporters have worked to get the church back into shape and that effort is nearly complete, church members said in announcing Sunday’s Homecoming event.

The bride is the daughter of Eddie and Donna Miller of Frankfort. She is a 1999 graduate of Western Hills High School and is employed at Kroger in Lawrenceburg.
The groom is the son of JB and Marcie Sutherland and Bill and Sabrina Sands of Lawrenceburg. He is a 1999 graduate of Anderson County High School and is a student at Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lawrenceburg.
He is employed at Best Western in Lawrenceburg.
