    Sandra Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Robinson was crowned Homecoming Queen.

  • Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Corley were surprised with a 60th wedding anniversary party on Oct. 22 at the Anderson County Community Park.

    Dinner was served, and The Buckskins Band provided music.
    The couple was married Nov. 6, 1950 in Jeffersonville, Ind. They celebrated their anniversary in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
    They have two children, Karen Smith and Mike Corley and his wife, Kay.
    The have four grandchildren, Jeremy Smith and his wife, Robin; Bruce Carrier and his wife, Kara; Michael Corley and his wife, Keturah; and Stephen Hawkins.
