  • Do you ever try to imagine the magnitude, the holiness of God? I do, and I find it to be very difficult. The finite, us, stuck in 24/7, 365 days a year, trying to imagine the incomprehensible, eternal God. My mind usually wanders to the words from “How Great Thou Art.” That’s about as close as I come.

  • Today, Aug. 31, in a small town called Bunol in Valencia, Spain, 20,000 people are launching ripe tomatoes at each other. They are celebrating the end of the season in style with more than 100 tons of mushy, juicy, red tomatoes. This annual food fight is called La Tomatina and lasts for one hour. It sounds tempting, I can probably think of a few people that would wear the pulp well however, I have a couple of better ideas, tastier too.

Tomatoes go so well with cheese — grilled cheese, mac and cheese, cheese omelets.
