    The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.

    The groom-elect is the youth/praise worship minister at Ninevah Christian Church.

    A wedding is planned for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Sand Spring Baptist Church.

  • Adam W. Phillips and Kayla D. Tracy of Frankfort announce the birth of their son, Braelyn Wayne Phillips, on May 7, 2010 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort.

    He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 17 inches long.

    His maternal grandparents are David and Kim Tracy of Frankfort.

    His maternal great-grandparents are Pam Whittaker and Shirley and Carl Tracy, all of Frankfort.

    His paternal grandparents are Marsha Phillips and Wayne and Donna Phillips of Lawrenceburg.

  • Mr. and Mrs. Marvin C. Goff Jr. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 13 with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sand Spring Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg.

    They were married June 16, 1960 at the First Christian Church in Nicholasville by the Rev. W.J. Arvin.

    Mrs. Goff, the former Henrietta Peel, is a daughter of the late Paul and Martha Peel.

    Mr. Goff is a son of the late Marvin and Alma Goff.

    He is retired from the U.S. Army and the Kentucky Public Service Commission.

    She is a 2006 graduate of Anderson County High School and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public administration at Kentucky State University.

    She weighed 6 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces and was 18 inches long.

    Her maternal grandparents are Brenda Stovall of Lawrenceburg and the late Lewis Stovall.

    Her paternal grandparents are Jeff and Mary Jane Bugg of Harrodsburg.

    Her paternal great-grandparents are Lula Mae Bugg of Harrodsburg and the late Fred Bugg.

    She is a 2005 graduate of Anderson County High School and a 2010 graduate of Morehead State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in universal studies and an associate’s degree in applied science.
