    Clark specializes in personal financial planning, which includes planning for retirement, managing risk, insurance needs and estate planning.

  • Julia LeNora Wise and William Chad Case were married Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Ninevah Christian Church in Lawrenceburg. Pastor Terry Cooper officiated at the ceremony.

    The bride is a daughter of Ted and Jayne Wise of Lawrenceburg and the granddaughter of Elizabeth Clifton Gravitt and the late Turner Gravitt of Lawrenceburg, and Gloria Wise-Hall and the late Ralph Wise of Frankfort.

  • American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 hosted Lunch with Santa on Dec. 7, according to a news release.

    Mr. and Mrs. Santa arrived at the Legion on the fire truck to the joy of many children who awaited his arrival. Each child received a UK Santa hat and a toy when they came into the clubhouse.

    Hot dogs, chips, jelly sandwiches, fruit drinks, cookies and soft drinks were served to more than 200 people.

    A free Christmas lights display will take place from 5:30 to 10 p.m. through Dec. 31 in Salvisa.

    The display is located on Bondville Road.

    To get there, take US 127 to Kirkwood Road (Highway 1987) and travel about a half mile west on Bondville Road.
