School board member Rual Hays broke one rib and severely pulled two more when he fell from his corn crib. He was recovering at home.
The Plainview farm owner, R.C. Tway, named Kenny Walker, 25, native of Lawrenceburg, trainer of the Plainview Farm Stables.
Walker had 10 years experience. His training was gained under the veteran trainer-rider Frank Bradshaw and he spent one year in Missouri with Bill Cunningham.
Walker is a nephew of Deputy County Clerk Susan Walker.
