Mind games: Never-say-die attitude propels Bearcats to romp

Since that day he came home to lead the Anderson County High School football program, Mark Peach has preached the mind is where the champions are separated from those who are merely good.

Friday night, it was no exception.

The Bearcats were never seriously threatened in a 42-6 win over George Rogers Clark in the Bearcats' season opener. They methodically wore the visitors down with an offensive line that punished the Cardinals and a spread-the-wealth attack that saw three Bearcats run for at least 70 yards and four different runners reach the end zone.
