Riley’s record round takes title

Kaitlyn Riley knew she was in good shape.

Even though the University of the Cumberlands sophomore had just bogeyed the 16th hole at Savannah Quarters Country Club, Riley still had a two-stroke lead with two holes to play in the NAIA Golf Tournament, held in Pooler, Ga., last week.

Riley held on to win the individual title, defeating top-ranked Elsa Westin of Keiser University. Riley’s final round 68 tied for the the lowest single round score in the history of the NAIA Tournament.
