Anderson field to be named for Best of Bearcats

It’s been a long time coming. Too long, really, but that usually goes with the territory of doing something so meaningful, so right and so fitting.

Anderson County High School will name its football field in honor of Bob Ware before Friday’s home opener with George Rogers Clark. The Anderson County Board of Education approved the move in January after a lengthy process largely spearheaded by Ware’s longtime friend, Teresa McWilliams.
