Anderson County Relay for Life will host its annual House of Trees fundraiser Nov. 24-25 at the Eagle Lake Convention and Expo Center in Lawrenceburg.
The event will take place starting Saturday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 25 from 1-4 p.m.
Local organizations, churches and businesses decorate and donate themed Christmas trees, wreaths and centerpieces to be sold in a silent auction with all proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society.

The 13th annual Lawrenceburg Toy Run will be held Sunday, Nov. 18 from 12-2 p.m. to benefit Lawrenceburg’s underprivileged children.
Motorcyclists will meet at the Lawrenceburg Walmart at noon and leave at 2 p.m. for a brief motorcycle ride ending at Wash’s Cycle, located at 1534 Alton Road in Lawrenceburg.
Toy donations should be new, unwrapped toys and all toys will be donated to the city fire department to be distributed to children at Christmas, event organizers said.

Phillip Ritchey, director of missions for Anderson Baptist Association and a North American missionary working with Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief, is looking for volunteers interested in training to assist with disaster relief in New York.
Ultimately, Ritchey said he would like to have a team trained through the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief organization to respond to future disaster relief needs in Anderson County.
