    Judge A. Bailey Taylor heard the following cases during Anderson District Court proceedings on June 26, 2014.

    Robert V. Bentley, show cause, second-degree disorderly conduct – serve out for fines and costs, six days added to sentence.

    Robert Vernon Bentley, review, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) – continued to Sept. 29.

    Todd Beck, arraignment, four counts of theft by deception (less than $500) – review Oct. 2.

    Judge Donna Dutton heard the following cases during Anderson District Court proceedings on June 30, 2014.

    Kaylon J. Brewer, hearing, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence – five days to serve (credit time served), continued to July 28.

    Thomas Dean, Jr., hearing, theft by deception (less than $500) – contempt of court, sentenced to 30 days to serve, purge of contempt if paid, review Jan. 29.

    Darrell Barbee for failure to appear in court by Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.

    Judge Donna Dutton heard the following cases during Anderson District Court proceedings June 19.

    Joshua M. Carrillo, arraignment, license to be in possession, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license – bonded out.

    Ahmad Ghazawi, motion for shock probation, two counts of first-degree trafficking in controlled substance (heroin), first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), tampering with physical evidence, three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment – motion denied.
