Judge Matthew K. Eckert heard the following cases during Anderson District Court proceedings on Oct. 20, 2011.
Johnny Glass, arraignment, two counts of theft by deception (less than $300) – pleaded not guilty, pretrial conference Dec. 1.
Todd E. Chisholm, preliminary hearing, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, possession of marijuana – continued to Dec. 1; operating a motor vehicle under the influence – amended to third offense, continued to Dec. 1.

Judge Donna Dutton heard the following cases during Anderson District Court proceedings on Oct. 10, 2011.
Devon Sellers, show cause, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure to notify department of transportation of address change – continued to Dec. 5.
Justin Taylor, show cause, license to be in possession – failed to appear.
Franklin P. Uhlman, show cause, operating a motor vehicle under the influence – continued to Jan. 30.

A Lawrenceburg man was indicted last week on drug trafficking and DUI charges from an incident that occurred in May.
Richard M. Cary, 34, of 3071 Blaine Circle, was indicted for first-degree trafficking of Oxycodone, a Class C felony, according to documents on file in the Anderson County Courthouse.
He was also indicted for first-offense DUI and having an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle.
Other grand jury indictments include:
Darryl E. Riley, 420 Bondville Road, Salvisa for unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor, a Class D felony.

Judge Donna Dutton heard the following cases during Anderson District Court proceedings on Sept. 12, 2011.
Shana Cummings, arraignment, theft of identity of another without consent – pleaded not guilty, preliminary hearing Sept. 29.
Stephen Griffin, motion for shock probation, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, driving on DUI suspended license – motion denied.
Tina M. Rapp, arraignment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence – bonded out.
