Even temperatures in the 90s and a suffering economy couldn’t keep people away from the Lawrenceburg Fair and Horse Show.
“Looking at the hot, muggy weather we had, and the economy, we had a pretty good fair,” said Wayne Hanks, horse show manager. “The gate was up a little bit.”
The fair gate saw an increase in ticket sales, but vendor sales were down, Hanks said.
“All the vendors I talked to said it was down every where they set up,” he said.
