Anderson County put on a defensive clinic Saturday night, defeating visiting McCreary Central 55-35. Anderson limited one of Kentucky's best-shooting teams to 30 points below its average as the Bearcats improved to 16-4 and extended their winning streak to seven games.
“I thought our defense was tremendous,” said Anderson coach Glen Drury.
Offensively, C.J. Penny led the Bearcats with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Aaron Watts paced McCreary with 17 points.
