Anderson County firefighters battled frigid temperatures for nearly four hours Monday night when a fire destroyed a home at 1471 Wildcat Road.
Homeowner Christy Frankum was not home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, according to Battalion Chief Chris Harrod.
Harrod said the home was a total loss.
The fire was called in around 10:30 p.m., and firefighters from all five stations battled for nearly four hours to put it out.
No cause had been determined as of early Tuesday morning, said Harrod.
