With Sunday's brief-but-needed respite from the drought and only a 20 percent chance of rain today, Fourth of July activities in Anderson County are on.
The annual fireworks display is scheduled for dusk in the county park. Rain dates are July 5 and 6, if necessary. Those attending are asked to refrain from setting off personal fireworks in the park.
Today's parade is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. veterans recognition ceremony at Lawrenceburg Green (behind Town & Country Bank).
