Happy December, everyone.
Let the race begin. You now have 18 days before Christmas. Winter will officially arrive on the 22nd of this month and before you get too concerned, we normally only have a little snow by then.
Sinc, we’re nearing the end of the year, I thought we should take a short stroll down memory lane.
Last December, we had had only 1.6 inches of snow by Christmas, but it made for a white one. By the end of January we had another 1.26 inches fall. It was the month of February that got us.

Here it is, the end of November already. I can’t believe it has flown by so fast.
We’re about to sit down to a big meal and a day of rubbing elbows with kin. It doesn’t matter if you like them or not, you’re family, you’re going to spend the day with them, so don’t stress. One day does not a lifetime make.
Thanksgiving is all about family and believe it or not, yours is not the only one there. Vegetables have families, too, and they didn’t get to the table by hanging out together. They have their own likes and dislikes.

I saw this on a billboard in Cincinnati a couple of years ago. At first glance I was offended, but the more I thought about it the more I realized what the ad was saying.
The ad said people have grown tired of churches which are lifeless in nature, ran by the pastor, an elder or some prominent family or individual rather than relying on God and his word to direct the church.

Ingenuity is important in today’s economy, especially in agriculture.
But harvesting hemp?
That’s a new one.
In 2011, I would have thought we’d replace cotton and polyester with more futuristic materials.
Like recycled seat covers from our flying hover cars.
Rather, we’re looking back to renew modern agriculture, with a species of plant that doesn’t come without high expectations and mixed connotations.
