Now that the South Anderson Water District has allowed a wireless Internet provider to place antennas on its water towers, the city would be wise to consider allowing antennas on its water towers, too.
Once the water district signs off on the deal, businesses outside of the city will have a distinct advantage over those inside, simply because they have a less expensive, more versatile way to connect their businesses to the world.
Businesses in the city will remain hostage to hardwire applications, and in this day and age that’s simply not acceptable.
