To the editor:
We would like to thank everyone in Lawrenceburg and the surrounding communities for all of the support and love that they have shown us since the death of our son, Cody Ramsey.
We lost Cody on July 1 and it has been incredible how many people have reached out in some way or another to help us, support us, pray for us and just be there is we needed them.
We especially want to thank the teenagers of our town for being such wonderful friends to our Cody, and to thank them for giving us, his family, so much love and support.

To the editor:
The July 25, 2012, edition of The Anderson News reported that the Anderson County High School class of 1972, during its recent 40-year reunion, raised $850 in contributions to the Anderson County Scholarship Fund.
As administrator of the fund, I wish to express my sincere appreciation for this unexpected and unprecedented effort.

To the editor:
On behalf of the American Cancer Society and the Relay for Life of Anderson County, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for helping to make the 2012 Relay for Life held on June 8 a success.
Once again, the City of Lawrenceburg and the American Legion Post Unit 34 provided the beautiful park for us to hold our event and as always, was very accommodating to whatever we needed.

I would like to thank so many of you in this community for the outpouring of support that was offered to the family of Cody Ramsey during the difficult and trying time following his death.
It was refreshing to see the small-town values that still exist within our growing community.
Brian Ritchie was so caring and professional and he, along with his staff, did an outstanding job with the visitation, funeral services and arrangements for Cody. Death is never easy for a family, but a sudden death can be overwhelming for a family.
