Charlene Peach, 13, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peach, was stung three times by bumble bees on the face Tuesday afternoon while gathering weeds for a pet rabbit.
Mrs. Peach said a swarm of bees was in a stump near the child and she was stung in the corner of her left eye, on the eyelid and on the nose.
She was treated by a local physical and then admitted to the Versailles hospital Tuesday night for further treatment. She returned home Wednesday.
